We are always pleased to welcome new members to the
Players. The 2011 production will be the Stephen Fry revision of Me and My Girl. We still have places for men (especially baritones/basses!)
but are still unsure how many spaces we may have for ladies.
If you think you might enjoy singing and mixing
with a friendly group of people with a common interest, come down to rehearsal
to test the water and see whether you'd like to join us full time.
Rehearsals take place in Evington every Wednesday
night from September through to the show, which in 2010/11 will be from 28
March – 2 April 2011. Rehearsals will start on Wednesday 29 September;
auditions for principal parts will be on Sunday 10 October. Principals have an extra rehearsal each week,
on Thursdays.
All company
rehearsals are held at the Mayflower church hall, Ethel Road, Evington,
Leicester (near Waitrose and the General Hospital). Directions and more
